Inchicks.com is a web site for women to share links across the internet. As a member, you can post links to stories, talk about them, and even vote on them. If we were a magazine, then our members would be the ones who choose our stories that we print, or even feature on the home page.
First you need to have an account. Joining inchicks.com is free and easy, just “Click here to join”. You will be asked a couple of easy questions and then be required to verify your email address. All information collected is used just for inchicks.com and is not given to third parties – we respect your privacy.
Once your account in verified – you can login and start submitting links to other websites. Just click on the button that says Submit a Story and away you go. Also you will have the option to vote and comment on existing links other members posted. The more you vote and comment the more popular the story becomes, and the better chance it has to make it to the front page!
Click on the title of the story to bring up the information, then you can click on the hearts to rank the story  from broken (worst) to golden (best). If you really want to save the story, then click on the  button to add it to your favorites list.
When you login, not only can you post links to other websites, but you can also write your own stories – completed with photos and videos! This is all part of your blog.
You clique is just that, as you browse through stories of other members you can view other member’s profiles, seeing stories that they’ve submitted or blogged. You can then add them to your clique. You clique is just for you, it is a place for you and your friends to collectively post and share links and blogs but only ones submitted by you!
When you are browsing other stories, you can always click the “Add to Favorites” button and add that link to your favorites list for later.
You can add a button for people to vote and to add your web pages to inchicks.com with just one click! It looks like this:  or 
Just paste the code in the box right below this paragraph into the HTML code of your web pages (or all of them), and it will do all of the work for you! (note; javascript support is needed - so MySpace is out, but most blogging services are fine)
If you are a more advanced user, all you need to do is put a link on your web site created just like the example below. We'll take it from there.

Use u for the link to the page and use t for the title of the page.

With this api you will be able to integrate the inChicks.com with your own site on the backend or just as a way to automate your story submissions. In the future the API will be opened up to all you to pull your profile as well as some key lists from the API directly.
So to use the API you need to construct a URL and pass it to us in the correct format. We'll return a success message when the action completes successfully and an error otherwise.
